My son Dan (19) and his roommate do "rehabilitation" foster kitty care - getting un-ruley kitties ready for gentle new owners. They have 3 at any given time and they're very good at it - however their apartment does at times resemble a war zone! A lot of these cats can't be around others - at least initially - so they have to isolate them in different quadrants of their space. They also work full time & go to school. "Because it's important mom...."
What a great guy, and what a wonderful thing to do. I should apply for lessons in "cat whispering." I seem to always have cats who can't be around other cats.
