I'm not completely sold on this, and I know there are a lot of interesting arguments against voting for any third party candidate in any state, but you might want to take a look, especially if you're in a swing state and want to defeat Bush but don't feel good about voting Democratic:

Of course, if you're happy with Bush or Kerry, all this is irrelevant and I apologize for taking up your FL space.

You represent... hope.
You're quite a daydreamer and can be a hopeless
romantic. You enjoy being creative and don't
mind being alone at times. You have goals, and
know what you want in life... even if they are
a little far fetched.
What feeling do you represent?

As for voting, I'm going for the lesser of two evils that actually has a hope of winning.

Aug. 27-Sept 11. I'll add one for today, since I have an interesting reader! Also, the next Cameroon one is coming.
Hope school's going well.
PS Some of the responses on the "Women will never understand guys" are funny. Sadly, we also lost a big chunk of the maple tree in that same microburst from the edge of Ivan. It was the top of one of the two major forks, so now the tree looks very lopside. But it'll branch out in a couple of years. Interesting that maples cope with storms by losing limbs fairly easily and growing them back quickly, and oaks do it by growing slowly and hanging tough. Oaks seem to have the best idea, judging by what has survived at the beach. A Taoist lesson in all that, no doubt, but I'm not sure what.
BTW, if you ever have any spare time, you might enjoy looking over one of the Taoist communities on LJ: it's at http://www.livejournal.com/community/tao_talk/
