Cat Valente nails the Superbowl ads.

I don't usually watch football, but I really loved that game. The right guys won, and they did with so much class and spirit. And The Who!

But the ads. I felt like the guys were telling me to get out of the room. And not to take a beer when I went.

The one good thing about the ads, is that the misogyny was so ridiculous and over the top that it was obviously too stupid for words. Kind of a sad parody.

No, not quite so bad. In fact, I'm often astonished at what I read from my US friends regarding this and many other issues in the media.
