In the last year, two wonderful people that I knew well have died from pancreatic cancer, and I think everyone knows that Ruth Bader Ginsburg also has this terrible disease. I know we're all overloaded with worthwhile projects, but if you have a minute, please think about participating in 2009 Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Advocacy Day. 450 representatives have gone to Washington to urge more funding for research on this and all other cancers--the rest of us can support them by calling our representives in Congress. They have a very easy-to-use website that will give you your rep's phone number and a script that you can use if you're not sure what to say.
