(no subject)

I think I've moaned before about the idiotic governor of my state, Mark Sanford, who is determined to reject any stimulus money, even though our unemployment is 11% and we'll have to pay it back even if we don't take it. Why is he doing this? He thinks he can be the male version of Sarah Palin. When even the Republican legislature has long since turned against him and is fighting him on this, how does he think he can win a national nomination, let alone an election? I feel sure he's also hoping Obama will fail and then Sanford can pose as a hero with brilliant foresight. Glad to see that the NY Times is calling national attention to this stupidity (here, we get so used to it that we're no longer amazed, a dangerous situation).
