So meanwhile it is still yoga month, and so far I've missed only one day, I think, even though a couple of other days were very minimal. It always feels so good when I've done it, but not always easy to get started. Today I was a little sore from yesterday's high-intermediate class, but even so, feel better to have moved and stretched than to have stayed stiff. I've really learned that in my head (that moving will help the stiffness) but the first few minutes it's always hard to believe.
And I need to get back to my early morning routine. If I don't do it first thing before breakfast, the rest of the day can shuffle by without my realizing it. And that's true for writing, and working on my course, and straightening up the house...if I can do ten things by ten AM, I'm fine. Of course, I can't, so every day there's something I go to bed and realize as my eyes close that I meant to do and didn't. Somehow cleaning out the closets always winds up in last place.
