(no subject)

Grr. The open/close on my DVD player is not working. It's an old player, and the DVD inside is mine--I'd like to get it back if possible, but it wasn't terribly expensive. Is there a handy home fix for this, or will I have to take it somewhere to get it opened? I'm fine with the idea of getting a new player, because this one is pretty old.
