Heh, that's exactly where I alt+tabbed here from! Yeah, it's great--did you see the thread about it on the ATPo board? Or hear the NPR story (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=17307572) on it?
I didn't see/hear those! Just had it passed along from a bunch of people, and wasn't sure it had gotten to everyone. It's getting to be like solitaire though...
I am responsible for giving away alot of rice these days. It's amazing how addictive that is; you'd think I'd get the hint around 1,000, but no, I have to keep going, as though my vocab level will shoot up to 50 if I just keep trying for it...
Eventually it will...I think I really have learned some new words. I've played a couple of times trying to see how simple it got, and it gets pretty simple. But I don't think you get any rice when you miss.
That's right, you don't. But that means the more words you learn, the quicker you can give the rice away! I don't think it's wasting time--it's the most productive addiction I know! Or, as a line in the filk I just finished (yes!) says, "One kind of fun that ain’t no vice."
