[livejournal.com profile] coffeeem links to a very interesting post by Kay Reindl, who's written for Moonlight and other things, about the writer's strike and how we can respond.

She points out that writers do receive some money from DVD's but none at all from downloads and online watching. Which means I just have to wait for the finale of Mad Men to roll around again--but that's OK.

Yeah, I was glad to hear that--I'd been wondering if DVD's were good or bad for the writers. I guess not really good, but at least they get something.
