A very different kind of yoga today--a very energetic and free Fire Purification vinyasa (moving fairly quickly from pose to pose) in a hot room, with candles in front of our mats; we started with some intense pranayama (agni prasana and other kundalini things), and went through some very twisty flows, laced with some beautiful fire imagery--unlike a typical Anusara class, very little emphasis on alignment. Instead of getting tired, I felt more and more energized as the class went on, very open and able to do some asanas I usually find tough, and just flow past the ones I really can't do.
I can't practice like that all the time--I really need the slow steady work of alignment and endurance--but it was a delightful night.
Maybe the energy from the Bollywood-style dance competition we saw the other night is still with me.

ETA: And another good meme from the same source:
When you see this, post a quote from Shakespeare in your journal. Here's mine:
The iron tongue of midnight hath told twelve:
Lovers, to bed; 'tis almost fairy time.
I fear we shall out-sleep the coming morn
As much as we this night have overwatch'd.
This palpable-gross play hath well beguiled
The heavy gait of night. Sweet friends, to bed.
A fortnight hold we this solemnity,
In nightly revels and new jollity.
