I was 64, if you must know--but at this point, 65 is the new 21: all kinds of discounts and freebies suddenly part of my life, next year). And may I say that you are the epitome of grace and charm? I so enjoyed those few hours we spent chatting late at night in Tahoe, when all the young ones were asleep!
Here's to freebies! I realized that I'm officially a "senior citizen" as of next July...heeeeee, discounts are good! It's nice to remember that even if we have a little more gray on top, we still have that bounce in our steps! I want to be like that 97 year old woman in Pasedena.

Absolutely! Over the hill..or standing on top with a terrific view?

And I have to say you make it look good ,too. Don't see how you have the strength for the work you do!

Think about coming south to see me some time, when you get free. I'm still dreaming of my west coast train adventure and could show up in your neck of the woods.

I would love to visit you..I've never been to your part of the USA, and it intrigues me. And that west coast train adventure sounds great - come on up!

Let's do it--both ways--whenever the spirit moves us and the $$ (Canadian or US) are available!

Only, if you want to come to the beach in summer (eg, June, July, early August) I need a lot of advance planning. Other seasons are more flexible (March is known as "Canadian weather" down here--we're all wearing overcoats and the people from Toronto are in swimming).
