I'm in Madison. I've been to Oconomowoc, though! It's between here and Milwaukee, maybe an hour from here.
Yes indeed, I got some stuff at A.P. -- two balls of kid mohair/acrylic on sale (way on sale), for my partner to play with, and one ball of purple cotton for me (I'm thinking washcloths or handtowel). Great store. I felt downright scared, though, holding a ball of quiviut (arctic muskox) in my hand -- $66.50! I could understand it when M explained to me how muskox fur is gathered (from plants that the animal has brushed against)...
