Here are some kitten pictures, at last--though sadly I had to leave them behind in California.

Bandito

Sorry I couldn't get a nice posed picture of Ronin--he's way too hyper for a digital camera to catch.

There was almost a sad story--the house has a wide banister over the stairwell, with a drop to a stone floor. Ronin pushed Bandito over the edge, but fortunately D was below watching them, and had the skills to catch the falling kitten! Thank goodness.

I'm afraid that these cats, who've been mostly in a cage all their lives, may not have the understanding of how the world works that cats develop when they grow up playing everywhere--but I've known some kittens who were raised with house and yard as their kingdom and still weren't too bright about things that can hurt kittens.

At least this has a happy ending--they'll be well cared for and loved.
