I don't mind artists being difficult--at least at his level, he's earned it by being a fine playwright. Just don't like him making judgments about something he doesn't know about (especially of course when that's my world and my friends). I think that's part of what really disappoints me. In his work he seems so turned in to fine distinctions. It seems incongruous that he's not the same in real life. But of course he's not going to be.
