Not sure I'll remember to keep up with it, but here's a nice 10-day meme from [livejournal.com profile] cjtremlett:

Day One: Ten things you want to do some day.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight qualities you think are awesome in other people.
Day Four: Seven (semi)interesting things you've pondered or thought about recently.
Day Five: Six things you are glad you did.
Day Six: Five books/movies/tv series/etc that you'd recommend
Day Seven: Four silly quirks
Day Eight: Three pet peeves
Day Nine: Two things for which you're proud of yourself.
Day Ten: One secret plan.

Here's my Day One:

1. Go to India
2. Publish a novel
3. Do a handstand
4. " unsupported
5. Go to SA: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and maybe some others
6. Find a volunteer situation that really works
7. Spend time at Sravasti Abbey
8. Play with a grandkid
9. Have a Greyhound (dog, not bus)
10. Move to Charleston

And you??

Greyhounds are interesting dogs! I just saw one out walking down the block from me the other day. Weird looking dogs, but cool!

Hiya, Nancy!
Oh!! I hope you get the grandkid!! And greyhounds are so gentle; they make my heart squeeze. I think you can get homeless ones that are retired from racing...of course once they're done making money off the dogs, they lose interest. Or maybe you'd want a puppy, idk.

And us? oh my.
10 things I want to do some day...
1. See the pyramids
2. Get into a decent gallery with a person who really wants to help sell my images.
3. Refurbish my garage and set up a community darkroom that I could rent out. Maybe teach a couple of classes back there.
4. lose weight and get super healthy
5. Spend some time in Jamaica not with the tourists.

I think that's all I can think of right now!

No, I'd love a rescue greyhound. The women in prison here have a program to help the dogs socialize, and I've met many of them out on the street as well. They are so gentle and friendly--I think even my cat could get along with one. But I'm away so much, and don't think I could take the dog with me, so it will be a dream for a while.

I hope your darkroom idea works out! and the others too...
