From [livejournal.com profile] wisewoman:

You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal.

"And The Phoenix's cycle had reached
zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He
emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
immortal."

Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl
(Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian).
The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,
the number 0, and the element of fire.
His sign is the eclipsed sun.

As a member of Form 0, you are a determined
individual. You tend to keep your sense of
optomism, even through tough times and have a
positive outlook on most situations. You have
a way of looking at going through life as a
journey that you can constantly learn from.
Phoenixes are the best friends to have because
they cheer people up easily.

A very busy long weekend. First, new cats! Not mine, but my son's--and I'm getting to play with them while I stay at his house for one more week (great son, to have a mom visit for so long). T (my son) and D (his partner) got the cats at the Humane Society, through a process roughly equivalent to adopting a Chinese baby, minus the airfare. But after much counselling, waiting periods, everything but a home study, they are here. Two brothers, one at least is part Siamese from the coloring, but both are basically small, sleek, and white, one with blue eyes (he's not deaf), brown ears and tail, and light brown spots, the other with yellow eyes, a black tail, and one black mark on his head. They've lived in a cage most of their lives, so T and D are letting them into the house one room at a time. They (cats) were so delighted with the new space they spent hours racing around (six month old cats would do that anyway, I know, but there seemed to be so much delight in this). Their names are still being determined.

Also went to Serenity, a very late night showing, and to hear Neil Gaiman read. The joys of city life! And then next day to the Sonoma wine country, where we tasted a bit, mostly ate and walked. I especially love the end of summer hills covered with golden grass and the dark oaks. And Sonoma's a pleasant town.
