We went to see the Oprah-Obama show today (if you saw a clip on the news, that's me! up in the nosebleed seats! Hey!) It was a lovely warm day, so we walked over to the stadium. Lots of very nice people--some fresh from church, others dragging out of bed from last night's party, but all very happy and glad to be there.
I felt mildly hypocritical, since I won't vote for O in the primary here, thanks to his inviting the homophobic gospel guy to the state, but really loved the crowd. Great warm-up band (Arrested Development), Oprah was fun, and for celebrities, they were most impressive by starting on time.
