My nephew, in search of a new home for his blogging (from his Tibet venture!), wrote this about LJ:
LiveJournal seems nice, calm, cool collected. Maybe a bit much so. Plus, ain't no one on the thing.
So different from the experience I have, but I'm sure the words of an older relative would be the last thing to convince him. Maybe it was looking at it from my POV that made him think that. I do select for non-drama, that's for sure.
No one? We have new Russian owners, if nobody else...that alone makes me hesitate to encourage him to take another look.
