"Mozart Dances" by Mark Morris on PBS tonight-- 8 EDT. I've heard great things, and really love his other dances.

ETA: It was as delightful as I'd hoped. As lyrical and witty and strange as Mozart, almost.

Oh MAN, I love Mark Morris's work but my PBS station isn't showing it. [weeps]

It was wonderful, just kept getting richer and more surprising. Great clips of him rehearsing the dancers, too.

Maybe your station will show it at a different time. It was on Live from Lincoln Center.

Of course now I want to see it live--I got a little frustated when the camera zoomed in to one face and I wanted to see the whole stage, etc. They're performing it in Berkeley and Chicago, but I'm sure it won't be when I'm there.
