OK, for the first time I actually liked Addison, last night. She is willing to put herself on the line for somebody else--not just when she has something to gain, like coming out to Seattle, but when she can only lose. (I still don't like the way she looks, though--unfortuately like the wife of a former boyfriend of mine, where I got to be Meredith...weird how you bring your own life into the TV drama.) And in this ep, Addison was so much more serious than Meredith--it really shifted my allegiances a bit. But have to say I really, really hated Alex. I'm beginning to think he's getting a little unbelievable, like a witchy soap opera person.
Burke and Christina, though--that continues to be so real, so convincing. Especially her jealousy of George at the beginning, and her break-through to understanding who Burke is, at the end. And that's a real leap for somebody like Christina, who has natural talent left over.
