You've seen her before, but :

BC is a strange mix of wild and tame. She's been hanging around for a couple of years, and we only persuaded her to come inside during the last ice storm (and then it was only for about an hour). She's not a hunter, strangely, and very affectionate, but not a pet (except when it comes to canned cat food and having her ears rubbed):

The hair-do was only temporary--I had just put flea stuff on her. That's part of the reason for her somewhat disgruntled look.

aw. pretty kitty. is pretty stray kitty fixed? i'm assuming she is, if you care enough to put flea goo on her. for some reason, i can't get my parents to fix their stray kitties. harumph.

She was fixed when she arrived. So was the other. What I can't understand is caring enough about a cat to get it fixed and then dumping it.

But it's a hard job. Both my ex and another good friends have been heroic about catching, fixing, and releasing whole tribes of cats, and have some nasty scars to show for it! Taking these two for shots is an ordeal for us and them.

Here, BTW, is my other cat, old Orange. Speaking of dogs, he's grumpily sitting out on the car hood tonight (but it's not cold) because my stepdaughter is here with her dog. Here's where Orange thinks he should sleep:
