...I stopped reading Elizabeth George maybe six or nine books in, forget who Helen is, and actually gave up mysteries altogether until I can get my brain damage a little more repaired, but I did think she was a very good writer, although very grim...and this was even after I lived in the Uk for a few years...the last couple I recall were about two little children drowned and filmed and related creepy stuff, and some genius kid who killed the girl who destroyed his priceless violin...
