(no subject)

The AP has called North Carolina for Obama!

Not that it makes any difference in the grand scheme of things, but it's another big sign that the world is really changing. Next time, GA and SC!

Thank you for all your hard work.

Howard Dean's 50 state strategy worked!!!!

When Hubby gets home, I need to give you a link that shows that even states like Utah are going more Democratic. That doesn't mean that we are enough to switch Utah, but there are now more Democrats there thanks to Howard Dean's strategy. Almost the entire country is shifting Democratic.

And it makes the repubs fight on every front, not giving them any free rides.

My own state, South Carolina, was a lot less red than in 2004, judging from this NYT map (click on voting shifts): http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/results/president/map.html

Of course, it was a perfect storm--but it wasn't a random event. The financial mess grew directly out of failed policies.
