I've returned from some of my travels. Here are pictures from France: http://www.flickr.com/photos/75375370@N00/sets/72157600623666263/

It was a good trip--my sister had never been to Europe and she loved it, especially Arles--which I loved, too. Then a week at the beach with my son--we took a great kayak trip along the river, saw various alligators and a swallow-tailed kite, among other things. I don't have the courage to take my camera in the kayak, so no pix from that. But sometimes the no-camera memories are stronger....

A very beautiful and rich town--lots of history and wonderful food, people, etc.

Welcome back! I was just thinking this morning, "Where has mamculuna got to?" And here you are! Glad to hear you had a good time and brought back both photographic and interior memories.

You can pretty much conclude that I'm travelling when I'm not on LJ! And these were very good travels.

Thanks! Now if I can just refrain from eating everything in Chicago...And I definitely recommend the south of France for an idyllic vacation.

Wish I could have brought back bushels of them (but the ones on the trees--pretty, but bitter! Need lots of marination to be the goodies we love).
